International hooker Tatafu Polota-Nau has been added to the Leicester Tigers squad for Europe.

The front-rower, with 82 caps for Australia, has been registered as an ‘Additional Player’ in the Champions Cup and replaces Jake Kerr in the Tigers squad for Europe ahead of the Round 4 fixture against Munster.

Joe Maksymiw has also been registered among the Tigers forwards, replacing Dan Tuohy who has been on loan from Bristol.

Each club may select three Additional Players during the pool stage, one of whom must be a front-row player. The nominated Additional Player will replace a registered member of the club's squad and no club will exceed 41 players at any time during the pool stage.

The deregistered player may return to the squad at a later date during the pool stage and replace the Additional Player.

Tigers have previously added Michele Rizzo as a Additional Player following injury to Eliis Genge.
