Leicester Tigers Wheelchair Rugby team are on course for first-ever league and cup double this weekend (April 6-7) and Tiger and GB Star Nick Cummins is confident the team have what it takes.

Cummins and his teammates completed a unbeaten season picking up the Super Series Division One title for the second successive season on home soil in Leicester and will be returning to the Morningside Arena for this weekend's Nationals cup finals.

Nick is a regular international with Great Britain and believes the team can win a first-ever double for the club.

"It's been fantastic to carry on the success that we achieved last season", he says. "We've even bettered that success by achieving an 'invincible' season and not losing a game on our way to winning the league.

"Mine, and the team's, goal has always been to win the 'double' to retain the league title and cap it off by winning the Nationals.

"To win at the weekend, we'll need to take the consistency and confidence that we've built in the league forward into the cup. The disappointment of losing last year's final acts as additional motivation and hopefully we can make history."

LTWR are supported by club partner Hafele and will be in action on April 6-7 at the Morningside Arena, Leicester. To find out more about getting involved with the club, click the link below.
