This year's Tigers Challenge Festivals have been the biggest yet, with more teams taking part than ever before.

More than 250 teams of minis and juniors from England, Ireland and Wales took part in the Tigers Challenge events over three weekends, and for the first time we also included under-13 and under-15 girls’ teams.

The Tigers Challenge is a professionally-organised two-day festival for teams of under-7s to under-15s from all over the UK. Run in partnership with ESF events, this year’s Tigers Challenge events were at Butlins Bognor Regis in April and Butlins Minehead during April and May.

Former Leicester Tigers back-rower Craig Newby joined 40 teams from across the UK for the first event at Butlins Bognor Regis and joined the presentation ceremony at the end of the weekend's minis and juniors festival.

The second festival, at Butlins Minehead, brought together a total of 80 teams and more than 3,000 players, coaches and parents visiting the resort.

The final Tigers Challenge was at Minehead last weekend with more than 4,000 participants, taking the total up to almost 10,000 the three weekends, making these the biggest festivals of their kind. Tigers player Scott Hamilton made the trip too for the presentations.

Full results from all three Tigers Challenge events are available at www.esfscorecentre.co.uk including pictures from the weekends.

Tigers Challenge already has some proposed dates for 2015, starting at Butlins Bognor Regis (Friday April 10 to Monday April 13 for U7-U12s), Butlins Minehead (Friday April 24 to Monday April 27 for U7-U15 teams & girls U13 & U15 teams) and finally Butlins Minehead (Friday May 1 to Monday May 4 for U7-U14 teams).
