Tigers coaching for girls and boys at Easter

Tigers Rugby Camps return this Easter with coaching available for girls and boys across numerous age groups.

Following guidelines from the government and RFU, Tigers have put together a series of coaching sessions to get young players back on the pitch, physically active and re-introduced to the game in a safe and progressive manner.

These will be based at Brooksby Melton College, home of the Tigers’ nationally recognised ACE and Development rugby programmes, over four days of the school holiday – Tuesday April 6 to Friday April 9.

Sessions will be organised as follows:

Morning: Under-9 to Under-12 girls & boys

Afternoon: Under-13, Under-15 & Under-18 girls

Afternoon: Under-13 to Under-16 boys
Brooksby is situated on the Leicester to Melton Mowbray road (A607), just a five-minute drive from the A46 ring road on the outskirts of the city. It provides the perfect environment for Tigers coaches to deliver four days of fun, ‘Ready4Rugby’ coaching activities which will set up young players to go back to playing the game as more restrictions ease.

Places are available to book online now – four all four days or for single sessions – but are limited to 20 on each age group so hurry!

Players who attend on 1-3 days will also receive a Tigers Rugby Camp T-shirt, with 4-day bookings also receiving a Tigers Rugby Ball as an additional bonus.

Book online by clicking here, £25 per session or £80 for all four. Or call the ticket office on 0116 319 8888 (option 2) or email [email protected]. Phone lines are open Monday-Friday 9.00am-4.00pm.

Safety and enjoyment are our primary concerns, as always, and we are taking all necessary precautions to ensure we can deliver a safe and positive re-introduction to rugby while still minimising any risks associated with the ongoing pandemic and the Covid virus.

Tigers are also working on an extended programme for Rugby Camps during the summer period and look forward to meeting young players and their parents from all over the region, creating opportunities for all young Tigers to get back into the game and benefiting from quality coaching in a nurturing and positive environment.
