The next Leicester Tigers action at Welford Road features a potentially classic double header on Saturday, April 3.
Following the climax of the Six Nations, Tigers will be able to welcome back all of their internationals for the Guinness Premiership encounter with Bath Rugby (3pm kick-off) and this will be followed by an opportunity to see a new generation of stars as Tigers Academy face England Under-20s at 5pm.
Tigers Academy manager Neil McCarthy said: “Playing at Welford Road presents different challenges for the players and we’re looking forward to it.
“There will be a good crowd and the opposition will be top-notch so it will be good to see how the team react.
“We’ve played representative teams from England, Scotland, Wales and France in recent seasons and these fixtures provide a great opportunity for the squad, and also for the club’s supporters.”
Tigers Academy have recently notched a double over Wales Under-18s, following up an 18-7 victory at Welford Road with a 22-18 triumph at Aberavon.
“The away win in particular was hard earned and well deserved,” said McCarthy. “Our players were in a situation where they were 15-3 behind during the first half and had to work hard to get a victory.”
