Leicester Tigers conference and events team were last night recognised at the Stadium Experience Awards 2018 for the club's hospitality and event offering.

Tigers took home the Silver award for Operations Team of the Year – coming second to Premier league winners Manchester City FC and ahead of Tottenham Hotspur FC - and Bronze in the Visiting Directors Award, which was new for 2018.

Lined up along some of the UK’s biggest sporting names and stadiums, the 14th annual awards recognises the achievements of catering, conference and events teams at every football and rugby stadium across the UK and Ireland.

Around 350 guests enjoyed a night of celebrations at the Amex Stadium, home to Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club. 

Katie Glaze, conference & events manager at Leicester Tigers said: “What a night! Being recognised for the team’s achievements by the industry is a huge honour and it’s thanks to the dedication and commitment of the events team to offer only the best for our guests to Welford Road.”

The Operations Team of the Year Award looks for teams that go above and beyond to provide the best customer service. 

The Visiting Directors Award invites directors at each club to nominate the club where they had the best away experience when travelling with their team.
