More than 1,000 fans made the trip to Perpignan, where Tigers claimed a losing bonus that moved them joint top of Heineken Cup Pool Three.
An estimated 3,000 Tigers fans travelled to Treviso earlier in this season’s competition, while crowds at Welford Road have averaged over 17,000 again.
Meyer said: “I want to thank all of the supporters, it’s been really great to have a full crowd every single game at home.
“In Perpignan there were a lot of supporters, and that support makes Leicester a special team and a special place to coach.
“The crowd lift our players here at Welford Road, that’s a great advantage, but you still have to play. It doesn’t come easy and the opposition are not going to give you any points.
“You still have to play, and go out there and perform.”
Tigers and England centre Dan Hipkiss added: “The supporters are great and come to all of the games.
“I can remember going to Munster and they were fantastic there, Clermont Auvergne a couple of years ago was fantastic as well, and they were the same in Perpignan."
Tigers return to Guinness Premieship action on Saturday, kick-off 1.30pm, when they play Newcastle Falcons at Welford Road. Tickets are available from the Welford Road ticket office, by calling 08701 28 34 30 or online.
