Tigers help England reach RWC semis

Five Leicester Tigers helped World Champions England reach the semi-finals of the 2007 Rugby World Cup thanks to a stunning 12-10 win over Australia on Saturday afternoon.

England were severe underdogs going into the quarter-final match-up, but Martin Corry, Lewis Moody, Ben Kay and George Chuter all saw Brian Ashton's side home, with Dan Hipkiss an unused replacement in Marseille.

Lewis Moody was in superb form alongside Corry and Kay in an England pack that prevented the Wallabies from establishing any real rhythm for most of the 80 minutes, while Chuter provided an added dimension as a second-half replacement.

England now face a semi-final against either New Zealand or France in Paris on Saturday.
