Youngs placed third in the category last season, but has since established himself at Welford Road as well as making his debut for England.
When he returns from the England summer tour, he will get the use of a Land Rover Freelander 2 for the course of nextseason.
Youngs, who was also the Tigers’ Players Player of the Year and the Supporters Young Player of the Year this season, said: “I am really happy to win the award. The team have been playing well and it is great to be part of that.”
In second place was Saracens flanker Andy Saull, with London Wasps scrum-half Joe Simpson third. Also nominated was Northampton Saints forward Courtney Lawes and Sale Sharks forward James Gaskell.
Tigers No8 Jordan Crane won the Gatorade Performance of the Season award for his display in the win over Newcastle Falcons in Round 20.
Using a formula generated by OPTA Sportsdata, players were awarded points for things like metres gained, number of carries, turnovers won and tackles made. Crane carried the ball 28 times in the match, which Tigers won 31-7. He made 82 metres in total, beat five defenders and made 14 tackles to win the award for his outstanding display.
Three Tigers players also made it into the Sky Sports Dream Team unveiled at the awards ceremony. Youngs, Toby Flood and Scott Hamilton were named in the Dream Team backline.
The QBE Director of Rugby of the Season award went to former Tigers player and coach Andy Key, now at Leeds Carnegie.
