Leicester Tigers receptionist Katie Allnutt fulfilled a New Year's resolution when she took part in the popular BBC TV quiz Weakest Link.
Katie set herself the target of appearing on a television quiz show at the turn of the year and, when producers wanted people from sports clubs to apply, grabbed her chance.

She said: “I am a fan of quiz shows. I had made a New Year’s resolution at the beginning of the year to get on a quiz show.
“Anne was quite intimidating but it was part of her persona. I was too excited to be scared. I was excited because it was filmed at Pinewood Studios and I have always been mad about films and film stars.
“Voting people off was hard because we got to know people for a short while before the programme – but it had to be done.”
