Leicester Tigers have a vacancy for a New Media Executive in the IT Department at Welford Road.
Vacancy details as follows:
Core Hours of Work: 8.30am-5.00pm Monday-Friday plus matchdays; plus non-match Saturdays by rota.
Reports to: Head of IT
Basic Salary: Including OTE circa £18,000
Main Tasks and Areas of Responsibility
• Administer and manage http://www.leicestertigers.com/, and the Official Leicester Tigers iPhone App
• Use web design techniques to increase traffic and conversion rates (percentage of visitors who make a purchase)
• Develop the multimedia content of http://www.leicestertigers.com/
• To manage the online shop, providing images and developing promotions
• Provide reports on the levels of web traffic, it's location and response to marketing
• Liaise with the Communications Department with regard to the content of http://www.leicestertigers.com/, manage the graphical content and electronic marketing
• Film, edit and produce Leicester Tigers TV
• Develop the club's social networking presence
• Protect and improve the Leicester Tigers brand with respect to digital content
• To carry out any other duties and tasks required by management, which are within the post-holder's capabilities.

Good organisational skills
Good web management skills, and the knowledge to use advanced web techniques to drive sales and increase traffic
Knowledge of video/audio editing
