A number of Leicester Tigers club partners have been listed in Leicestershire’s Top 200 companies 2018 published today by the Leicester Mercury newspaper.
The Top 200 list is based on a company’s total turnover for the year-end that falls between July 1, 2016 and June 30, 2017.
High Street retailer next and construction materials specialists Breedon Group and Aggregate Industries feature in the top 10.
Next help to support the running of the award-winning Junior Tigers Club, which has more than 40,000 members aged under-16 years old.
Breedon Group are an official partner of Tigers with branding on the home and alternate kits as well as branding The Breedon Stand at Welford Road, which has a capacity of 8,500 fans.
Aggregate Industries currently run their popular Concrete Rugby sessions in secondary schools around Leicestershire teaching tag rugby skills and life-skills to more than 3,000 pupils.
Other club partners to make the list include payment technology experts Global Payments, wealth management specialists Mattioli Woods and confectionary supplier Big Bear (Fox’s) alongside Everards Brewery and heating supplier Fischer Future Heat.
Global Payments joined the Tigers family in early 2018 and support the running of its Healthy Schools initiative for primary schools. This involves a week-long programme all about healthy eating and exercise. The company also sponsor the annual Corporate Touch Tournament.
The Mattioli Woods Stand has become a prominent feature at Welford Road with the company also sponsoring the back of both Tigers kits, as well as hosting the Luncheon Club networking events.
Big Bear, the company behind the famous Fox’s Glacier Mints, also joined the Tigers family this year and currently sponsor the first team's warm-up bibs.
Everards Brewery are the official beer supplier at Welford Road whilst Fischer Future Heat currently sponsor Leicester Tigers training wear.
Leicester Tigers partners play a key role in supporting the club through sponsorship and branding as well as driving community programmes and promoting the game of rugby.
