Leicester Tigers players Jonah Holmes, Pat Cilliers, George Catchpole and Chris Baumann met supporters in the city’s Highcross shopping centre.

The players were joined by club mascot Welford and posed for photos, signed autographs and chatted to fans. They also helped on ‘Welford’s Wheel’, a game in which passers-by had the chance to win Tigers goodies including match tickets to the Christmas Eve game against Saracens at Welford Road.

Representatives from official partner Thomas Cook Sport were also giving away information on holiday discounts and Christmas getaways.

The Tigers pop-up store in Highcross shopping centre is offering 70 per cent off across many ranges making it ideal for last minute Christmas gifts.
