Leicester Tigers players David Denton, Ben White, Jordan Olowofela and Adam Thompstone will be heading to the first of our summer rugby camps, kicking off next Monday, July 22.
Scotland back row David Denton will be joining young players at Scarborough RFC (July 22-26) as the club hosts its first ever camp at the club, with England U20 international scrum-half Ben White visiting Shipston-on-Stour RFC during the same week.
Wings Jordan Olowofela and Adam Thompstone make the trip to Stamford School (July 22-26) and Lutterworth RFC (July 29-August 2) respectively as the club kick-starts its popular summer schedule.
White and Olowofela are both products of the prestigious Leicester Tigers Academy and were recently promoted to the club’s senior squad having impressed last season.
Open to youngsters of all abilities, Tigers rugby camps offer the chance for aspiring youngsters to begin their journey to hopefully follow in the footsteps of Ben and Jordan.
Tigers qualified coaches will lead a series of three half-day sessions for players at Under-7 and Under-8 levels, and five full-day camps for Under-9 to Under-15s focusing on all aspects of the game, from specific skills to strength and conditioning exercises.
The highlight of the camps welcomes a Tigers player to the camp to take part in a Q&A with the kids, sharing their tips on the training pitch as well as joining in the session.
Prices start from £150 for the five day camp – that’s just £30 a day – or £50 for our three-day tag sessions.
Our camps are heading to Yorkshire, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, Norfolk, Warwickshire and Staffordshire as well as across Leicestershire.
All attendees receive a free junior match ticket to an allocated Tigers home game next season, Tigers water bottle, t-shirt and rugby ball. Kids attending the full-day camps also receive a hot lunch and refreshments.
