Tigers raffle supports Kidney Care Appeal Dinner

Tigers player Tom Brady was on hand to gift raffle prizes to guests of one of Tigers official charity partners for the season at the Leicester Hospitals Charity Kidney Care Appeal Dinner last week.

Taking place at Welford Road in the Try Line Club, guests were wined and dined in one of the stadium's most exclusive areas.

Following a three-course dinner, Brady took to the stage to thank the charity for their great work and draw out the winning numbers for the evening's raffle prize.

Tom also announced three further raffle prizes from Leicester Tigers including a signed rugby ball, signed Tigers home jersey and a hospitality package for four people to a game at Welford Road next season.

The evening was rounded off with live music from local band Electric Soup.

Leicester Hospitals Charity Kidney Care Appeal helps to raise funds for equipment, research and treatment of kidney disease at Leicester’s hospitals helping patients across Leicestershire & Rutland as well as from Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire and Cambridgeshire.

Brady said on the evening: “I was privileged to be invited down to one of the renal units earlier in the season with a few of the lads and it’s down to the great work of the doctors, nurses, staff and volunteers that they can continue to effectively fight kidney disease.

“Hopefully the association with the Leicester Tigers has helped to raise awareness of kidney disease and the charity and nights like tonight can continue to support their work.”
