Tigers have named a strong side as they look to get the defence of their Guinness A League title off to a good start in the first leg of the final against London Wasps this evening.

Having topped the Northern Conference, Tigers travel to Henley to face southern champions Wasps, with the game kicking-off at 7.30pm.

The return leg has been scheduled for Monday May 7 at Welford Road (kick-off 7pm).

All seven members of the backline have been included in the first-team matchday squad at sometime this season, while the forward pack boasts a similar degree of experience.

Former England U-21 captain Matt Cornwell skippers the side from inside centre, with Johne Murphy, Leon Lloyd and Ian Humphreys also included.

An impressive-looking back row features Henry Tuilagi, Luke Abraham and Jordan Crane, while James Buckland and James Hamilton also start for the twice A League winners.
