Tigers rugby courses filling up fast

Figure image
Leicester Tigers coaching courses are proving as popular as ever and places this summer are filling up fast.

Already the camps at Stamford School and Ashburton Jersey Rugby Academy in August are sold out and a limited number of places remain on the courses at Ashburton Guernsey Rugby Academy and Swaffham RFC in July and North Walsham RFC in August.

Tigers will hold their next course at Ratcliffe College from July 13 to July 17, where they will pass on some of the tips that have taken the club to a record eighth English title this season, before moving onto a massive summer programme. The programme includes courses at Oakham School, Hinckley RFC and Coalville RFC as well as Lutterworth, Lichfield and Stafford, and Sleaford, Burton and Leamington rugby clubs.

The courses are for players aged between eight and 16 and will challenge them in all aspects of the game. Each player will receive a complimentary ticket to see Tigers in the new season at Welford Road. They will also receive a Tigers drinks bottle, T-shirt and rugby ball as well as a hot healthy lunch each day and a personal assessment and feedback form.

Tigers community manager Scott Clarke said: “The players will also receive the knowledge they need to take their game to the next level.”
