Summer signings Kieran Brookes, Richard de Carpentier, Julian Salvi, Niall Morris, Mathew Tait and Micky Young are included in the squad.
George Chuter and Thomas Waldrom, who were released from England duty earlier this month, are also in the squad, as well as Tonga’s Steve Mafi, England international Anthony Allen, All Black Scott Hamilton and Saxons caps Billy Twelvetrees, Ben Woods and George Skivington.
“I had the experience of pulling on a Tigers shirt for the first time last week and I am now looking forward to running out at Welford Road,” Tait said. “I have been on the receiving end here in the past and it will be nice to be on the same side as the home supporters.”
The Lyon squad includes former Tigers flanker Luke Abraham and Mark van Gisbergen, the former London Wasps full-back.
