Tigers have already shown their support for the charity by donating seats at the successful James Morrison and Will Young concerts held at Welford Road this summer and the JP Morgan Asset Management Premiership Rugby Sevens Series.
Now Tigers are providing Tickets For Troops with a number of tickets to every home first-team game during the coming season.
It will allow service personnel and their families the chance to enjoy watching English champions Tigers in Aviva Premiership Rugby, Heineken Cup and LV= Cup action.
Leicester Tigers managing director David Clayton said: “Leicester Tigers have long-standing links with the Armed Forces and we are very happy to support Tickets for Troops.
“We have already worked with Tickets For Troops this summer and service personnel joined us at Welford Road for Tigers’ first-ever stadium concerts and the new Premiership Sevens series.
“It is an excellent cause and we look forward to welcoming more members of the Armed Forces to Welford Road throughout the season.”
Raleigh Addington, operations director of Tickets For Troops: “We are hugely grateful to Leicester Tigers for showing their support for the troops in this way.
“Tickets For Troops is beginning to make a real difference to the morale of our Armed Forces during these difficult times.”
Tickets For Troops was set up last year to provide tickets to top sporting, musical and entertainment events to serving members of the Armed Forces and all those medically discharged since 2001. Almost 60,000 troops have already registered.
Patrons include former England international Lawrence Dallaglio, Leicester City and England footballer Gary Lineker and cricket legend Sir Ian Botham.
