Director of rugby Richard Cockerill expects to have many of his summer signings available, including Thomas Waldrom, Lee Robinson and Horacio Agulla, alongside a mixture of first-teamers and some of his younger squad members.
“We had a good week at our training camp in France last week, it was hard work but we got through a lot, and this week we’ve been back at Oval Park to work on a few things and continue our preparations for the start of the season,” said Cockerill.
“We used some of the younger guys and some different combinations in the game against Brive last week, but the team still did some good things and we’ll go to Nottingham with a similar plan.
“We’ve had good links with Nottingham over a number of seasons, Glenn Delaney and the staff do a great job there and some of our dual-registered guys will be playing for them rather than playing for us which is interesting too.
“I’m sure both clubs will have some decent support on the night.”
