Leicester Tigers will show off the club’s new kit for the 2017/18 season at the Singha Premiership Rugby Sevens on July 28 and 29.

Tigers can also announce that kit supplier Kukri will be its new technical partner for the next two seasons, supplying home and away kits for the 2017/18 and 2018/19 seasons.

The club will be posting teasers across social media for fans to enjoy in the build up to launch day on Friday, July 28, when both the home and away kits will be revealed online at 9am.

The new away kit will be worn for the first time when Tigers kick-off their Singha Premiership Rugby Sevens fixture against Wasps and Newcastle Falcons at Franklin’s Gardens on Friday (July 28).

Tigers will then wear either the new home or away kit on Saturday, depending on which teams they play on the Sevens Finals Day.

Chris Rose, Tigers head of brand, said: “Tigers are the largest club in the UK and it was key we found a supplier that could match those standards. We’re really pleased to welcome Kukri for the new season.”

Andrew Ronnie, Kukri managing director, said: “Kukri Sports has been a market leader among rugby brands since its inception in 1979 and we are delighted to be partnering with Leicester Tigers, one of the largest and most high-profile clubs in the UK.

“Our brand aligns perfectly alongside Tigers commitment to quality and passion on a worldwide stage and we look forward to joining them at Welford Road this coming season.”

Chris Bailes, head of partner business at Fanatics, Tigers’ retail partner, added: “We know that Leicester Tigers supporters want quality first and foremost, and we think that Kukri will be able to deliver this for the 2017/18 season, and have developed a fantastic training and playing range.”

The new home kit will be available for supporters to pre-order from July 28, with training wear on sale in mid-August. The new kit will be available in store for the season opener against Bath at Welford Road on September 3.

To place your pre-order, make sure you visit the Leicester Tigers website on July 28.
