Launched last summer, Tigers Together saw a shift in the way memberships are offered at Leicester Tigers.
Offering supporters a multitude of packages to help contribute to the ongoing operations of the club, the core tentpole of the scheme saw supporters able to split their contributions how they saw fit, between three core areas: men's rugby, women's rugby and technology & innovation.
Although Tigers Together will not be returning for the coming season, we can look back at exactly where these invaluable donations were spent as well as updating supporters on the upcoming Wall of Honour.
How much was raised through Tigers Together?
A huge £110,000 was generated from supporters of Tigers Together.
How was the money split?
Of the three options for investment, Tigers Together members chose to split their totals:
46% to men’s rugby = £50,600
33% to women’s rugby = £36,300
21% to technology / innovation = £23,100
What was the money spent on?
Thanks to the generous investment of Leicester Tigers supporters, that total was able to fund a variety of
£15,000 on Sports Science & Nutrition area at the club's men's Oval Park training ground (used by both the men's and women's teams)
£6,900 on a scrum machine and additional, specialised equipment
£20,000 on a hyperbaric chamber
£15,000 on speed gates
£30,000 toward improvements to the women's Oaks Park training ground; the grounds, upgrading facilities
£23,100 towards upgrades to PA systems in the Mattioli Woods Stand and Breedon Stand
Total: £110'000
Please Note: This was a contribution towards a much larger cost for these upgrades, and they are part of an ongoing, stadium-wide, upgrade for all stands at the venue.
Additionally, some of the funding was directed towards the costs of the benefits that Members received including the European shirt, tickets and a framed picture.
What is happening with the Wall of Honour?
We can confirm that the Wall of Honour will be in place for the start of the 2025/26 season.
This will be positioned on the wall outside of the reception area in the Tradeview Market Stand. This will replace the memorial wall that is currently there, as these names can also be found on the nearby memorial statue.
New for 2025, we are offering two distinct Memberships for supporters, which will be launched on July 14. However if you want to get ahead you can purchase now. For those interested in 2025 memberships, please click here.
