Tigers tries in Under-20s triumph

Debutant hooker Jake Farnworth and Leicester Tigers colleague Will Owen were among the try-scorers as England Under-20s claimed a 61-0 victory over Italy at the Brickfields, Plymouth, on Friday evening.In front of a crowd of more than 3,000 fans, the other scorers were Joe Marchant (3), Howard Packman (2), George Perkins and Ellis Genge, while fly half Rory Jennings kicked 10 points. Replacements James Mitchell and Marchant also added a conversion each.   Owen, who started in the back row alongside Tigers colleague Charlie Beckett, grabbed the second score of the night as he picked up a loose Italian lineout to dart over, while Farnworth rounded the scoring off with five minutes to go in his first appearance at this level.   Head coach Jon Callard said: “We’re really pleased with the performance against a physical and passionate Italian side.
