Tigers unveil new Rugby and Multi-sport camps brochures

Tigers are set for a huge summer of Rugby Camps and Multi-sport Camps after releasing full details of their programme.

Tigers have produced new brochures to promote the camps, which include a forward from club captain Tom Youngs and senior academy coach Anthony Allen.

The brochures have been sent to all of last year’s attendees and can be viewed online by clicking here.

The camps are suitable for all abilities and for children aged from five to 15.

Rugby Camps kick off at Wymondham and Stoke rugby clubs during half-term. Three morning tag rugby sessions for under-sevens and under-eights will be held between May 29 and May 31. Under-nines to under-14s can take part in full day camps, which run from May 29 to June 1.

Welford Road will host a series of Masterclass sessions. Tigers legend Ian ‘Dosser’ Smith will take the Forward Play and Scrum session on May 31 and the Girls Masterclass on June 1.

Tigers player Mathew Tait will be leading the Attack and Decision Making Masterclass on May 29, whilst Tigers senior development coach Brett Deacon will take the Breakdown and Defence session on May 30.

Former Tiger Scott Hamilton was announced as the lead for the final Masterclass session on June 2 focusing on Attack and Continuity. 

Multi-sport camps are being held at Welland Park Academy in Market Harborough in the week commencing July 23; Uppingham Community College in the week August 6 and the Cedars Academy in Birstall the week commencing  August 13. Activities include cricket, football and tennis as well as dodgeball, basketball and tag rugby.
