Leicester Tigers and business energy provider Utility Alliance have partnered up in a deal which sees the company welcomed as an official supplier of the club.
Set up in 2015, the award-winning consultancy aims to help small to medium sized businesses to improve their energy efficiencies to reduce their costs.
Supporters and business owners will be able to take advantage of Utility Alliance’s expertise through technologies which monitor and track electric, gas and water bills.
The company already has ties in the rugby world as the current energy partner of Super League club Wigan Warriors, and will be working with Tigers to reward supporters and the wider Leicester community.
Mark Davies, head of business development at Leicester Tigers, said: “We’re excited to welcome our latest club partner Utility Alliance into the Tigers Family as our official energy broker.
“Within their sector, Utility Alliance is well-known for their support of the community and coupled with our like-minded focus in that regard we’re really happy to welcome them to the club and working together moving forward.”
Kirstie Wallace, Corporate Relationships Manager for Utility Alliance, added: “We are delighted to able to confirm our official partnership with Leicester Tigers.
“We have links with some fantastic businesses through the East Midlands Chamber of Commerce, and now we have linked up with Leicester Tigers we are looking forward to creating and nurturing new relationships with businesses in and around the Leicester area.
“We wish the team all the very best for the season and we look forward to taking in the Welford Road atmosphere soon.”
