Tigers World Cup for supporters

Leicester Tigers are organising a number of events for supporters at Welford Road during the Rugby World Cup period.Ahead of kick-off in the World Cup, Tigers are planning a pre-season home fixture on Saturday, August 29 and then Welford Road hosts international rugby with the Marcos Ayerza Testimonial Challenge between Leicester Tigers and Los Pumas on the opening weekend of September just two weeks before the Argentina squad open their own World Cup against the All Blacks.   England 2015 will attract rugby fans from around the world during September and October, and Tigers will be opening the doors to all supporters for events around England fixtures and matches being played in the city.   All of England’s fixtures in the pool stages will be shown live on the big screens in the Final Whistle at Welford Road. To assist the club in preparing catering and staffing, entry for supporters is £2 but this is redeemable against food and refreshments inside.   Tigers are also organising exclusive World Cup dinners hosted by one of the club’s former international players and includes special World Cup entertainment. Tickets for these events are £25 adults and £10 juniors for season ticket holders, and £30/£15 for all other supporters.   Tickets for the big screen and dinner events are already available now at the Tigers ticket office or online by clicking here.   The club are also planning Tigers World Cup days for supporters at Welford Road around the fixtures being hosted in the city.   Join us at our Tigers World Cup fanzone on Sunday, October 4 on the way to the match between Argentina and Tonga, and share our Tigers Open Day on Sunday, October 11 when Argentina face Namibia at Leicester City.   The Kings of the North fixtures involving Leicester Tigers, Newcastle Falcons and Sale Sharks start during the knockout stages of the World Cup.   The first Welford Road fixture is against Newcastle Falcons on the weekend of September 19 will include the return of Tigers In The Park, a family community event based at the stadium and at Nelson Mandela Park opposite.   Kings of the North fixtures are included in Tigers season tickets 2015/16.
