Treviso team to face Tigers

Benetton Treviso have made just one change to the team that opened the Heineken Cup campaign last week for Saturday’s home game against Leicester Tigers.

Coach Franco Smith brings 34-year-old Marius Goosen into the backline in place of Emiliano Mulieri who drops to the bench. Goosen, normally a fly-half and Treviso’s record points scorer in the competition, is selected on the wing.

Fraser Waters, a regular rival of Tigers in his days with London Wasps, is selected at centre.

Treviso coach Franco Smith selects a number of fellow South Africans in his line-up, including international back row Hottie Louw, who has also gained Heineken Cup experience with the Scarlets before moving to Italy.

Benetton Treviso: Brendan Williams, Andrew Vilk, Benjamin de Jager (c), Fraser Waters, Marius Goosen, Andrea Marcato, Simon Picone; Augusto Allori, Franco Sbaraglini, Salvatore Constanzo, Antonio Pavanello, Corneil van Zyl, Silvio Orlando, Hottie Louw, Dion Kingi. Reps: Diego Vidal, Enrico Ceccato, Roderick Labuschagne, Enrico Pavanello, Mark Gilbride, Emiliano Mulieri, Tobias Botes.
