The Leicester members' player of the season made an immediate impact after appearing as a second-half replacement, picking his way through the Tonga defence to score his side's sixth try in a 50-3 victory.
The result guaranteed Samoa third place in the Pacific Nations Cup behind Australia A and the winners, the Junior All Blacks.
Seru Rabeni played the full 80 minutes for Fiji in their 14-14 draw with Australia A.
