Leicester Tigers are proud to host the annual varsity rugby matches for the University of Leicester and De Montford University, who are set to do battle on Tuesday, March 19.

Mattioli Woods Welford Road will be the venue once again for the tournament's two rugby games, after the University of Leicester did the double last year, with both the men's and women's sides victorious.

The two matches are set to take place back-to-back on Tuesday, March 19.

The women's game will see the University of Leicester aim to keep their winning run alive, one that has seen them win every iteration of this match since it was first played in 2004, with De Montford University aiming to end the streak and earn retribution for last year's 72-0 loss.

On the men's side, the University of Leicester triumphed in last year's contest, a 24-0 win sealing the double for the University.
