Telusa Veainu’s breakaway score in Saturday’s win for Leicester Tigers against Wasps has been nominated as a contender for the Citizen Try of the Week.
The Tigers full-back picked up ball inside his own 22 before racing away from the covering defence to score the vital second try in the derby encounter at Welford Road.
His score is nominated alongside those from Stuart Hogg (Exeter Chiefs), Byron McGuigan (Sale Sharks), Nick David (Worcester Warriors) and Henry Purdy (Bristol Bears).
