Telusa Veainu has thanked the Tigers Family for their help in preparing him for pre-season training with games of touch rugby.

Veainu took to Twitter in the final week of his summer holidays to ask Leicester Tigers fans for their help “to run my muffin top off”.

And he told LTTV that he was able to visit five clubs around the county for a pre pre-season workout.  Watch the full interview below.

The Leicester Tigers full-back said: “I came back a week early to get the lungs back into action. I put a tweet out there to see who wanted to play touch.

“Luckily the local community got in touch and I managed to get out to see some places I have never been before and saw the wider Leicester community and how passionate they are towards the Leicester Tigers."
