Sam Vesty will lead a Leicester Tigers XI in a twenty20 cricket match to raise funds for local causes.
Tigers will take on a guest Matt Hampson Trust XI, which will be captained by former Leicester City and Scotland centre-half Matt Elliott, in what promises to be an entertaining afternoon of cricket.

The event will take place at Rothley Park Cricket Club in Westfield Lane, Rothley on Sunday, August 23. It is the sixth time the club has hosted the charity game, which will raise money for the Matt Hampson Trust, LOROS and the development of junior cricket at Rothley Park Cricket Club.
The gates open at 12.30pm for a 2pm start. Admission is £5 on the day with children under-13 free. There will be free parking from the Westfield Lane entrance, as well as a barbecue, bar, raffle and activities for children.
