Voting is now open to find the season’s opening Topps Tiles Try-Umph of the Month from the Leicester Tigers action in September.
Every month, Tigers supporters have the opportunity to vote for their top pick in conjunction with club main partners Topps Tiles and every voter is also included in a draw to win a shirt signed by the winning player who will be revealed on LTTV.
We have completed a shortlist of three Leicester Tigers highlights from the action as we seek to find September’s Topps Tiles Try-Umph of the Month.
Here is your shortlist:
Nemani Nadolo v Newcastle Falcons, Gallagher Premiership
When scrum-half Ben Youngs picked up ball near halfway, momentarily he seemed to face a wall of black shirts, but he spotted a gap and darted through, opening space for wing Nadolo to attack and then beat the last two defenders on his way to the tryline for his second score of the day.
Chris Ashton v Newcastle Falcons, Gallagher Premiership
A try straight from a restart. Harry Wells not only made the restart catch under pressure but also instantly offloaded ball to Nemani Nadolo and, when the big wing took on the defence, Chris Ashton arrived to take his one-handed pass and raced 40 metres to the left-hand corner.
Emeka Ilione v Wasps, Premiership Rugby Cup
After a lineout drive had moved infield from the left, Hosea Saumaki arrived and drew in four defenders before a short pass brought flanker Emeka Ilione on to the ball at pace and he wrestled his way past a final defender on the tryline to score.
