Voting is now open for the Lumbers Player of the Month Award for March.

Harry Wells, Maxime Mermoz and Luke Hamilton are on the three-man shortlist and fans can vote now on the Lumbers website by clicking here.

Wells has been a central figure throughout the Anglo-Welsh Cup success and receives his first Lumbers Player of the Month nomination. The lock made the second-highest number of tackles in the final (21) and across the whole Anglo-Welsh Cup campaign (68). He also made four turnovers in the competition, the eighth highest.

Mermoz has made an immediate impression since joining to the end of the season. Mermoz scored a try on his debut against Gloucester Rugby to bring up the bonus point and grabbed his second in the last home game against Exeter Chiefs. The centre shone in attack against Quins, beating five defenders and making two offloads, team highs in the fixture.

Hamilton, the Lumbers Player of the Month for February, is nominated for the award for a fourth time this season. A player who has been a key member in the Anglo-Welsh Cup campaign, Hamilton won seven turnovers, the second-highest in the competition, and made 62 carries, the third highest.

As well as Hamilton, previous winners of the award this season are Adam Thompstone, Freddie Burns and Jack Roberts.

Established in 1881, Lumbers jewellers have been at the heart of Leicester for more than 135 years - just like the Tigers - and are the new sponsors of the monthly award.

The Lumbers team offers unparalleled service and knowledge for clients at their new premises in High Street, Leicester, with an extensive range of services including jewellery and watch repairs, valuations and engraving.
