An expanded Welford Road stadium this season provides more opportunities for supporters to decide to come down to the rugby on the morning of the match.
Tigers managing director David Clayton said: “In previous seasons, people have become accustomed to us not having tickets available on matchday, but that is not the case since the stadium was expanded to 24,000 capacity with the opening of the new Caterpillar Stand this year.
“We have 13,000 season ticket holders whose places are guaranteed for this weekend, but that still leaves excellent seats available in most areas of the ground.
“This Saturday provides the perfect opportunity to take advantage of the expanded stadium and it is an also excellent chance for supporters to come and have a look at the new facilities in the Caterpillar Stand if they have not been on that side of the stadium before.
“There is obviously a really good feeling around the place after the win over South Africa last Friday and with Lote Tuqiri settling in and guys like Matt Smith, Craig Newby and Toby Flood on their way back from injury, we are hoping for another good crowd on Saturday. We will certainly set a best figure for this season’s Anglo-Welsh Cup ties.”
Book your place now by contacting the Tigers ticket office. Phone 0844 856 1880 or call in at Welford Road. The ticket office is open until 5pm on Friday and from 9am on matchday.
The Final Whistle bar is open to all supporters from noon on Saturday, serving food and refreshments, and the international Test between England and Argentina will be shown ‘as live’ immediately following the Tigers match in the bars around the stadium.
