Representatives of Rainbows, the East Midland hospice for children and young people, will be in attendance at Welford Road at Leicester Tigers' game against Bath Rugby on Friday.
Rainbows will have a display in the Final Whistle bar and will be distributing leaflets describing the work they do with families in the region, as well as how Tigers supporters can help.
“Rainbows are delighted with the support given by Leicester Tigers,” says Patricia Brookes, director of fundraising at Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People
“As the East Midlands’ only hospice for children and young people, it means a lot when iconic local establishments get on board to support us.
“It costs £2.8million each year to support some of the most poorly local children and the majority of this money comes from the community.
“That’s why support from the Tigers means so much to us.
“It also helps us reach people in the community and let them know we need their help.
“Some children don’t live long enough, we’re here for them and the people who love them most.
“As the East Midlands hospice for children and young people, we need support too. Help us be there.
“Since 1994 we’ve opened our doors and hearts to those children and the people who love them most.
“And now, more than ever, we need your help to keep on bringing care and happiness to our children and families.
“Rainbows is a place where life-limited children and their families can take a break from life’s worries and heartaches. Our incredible team of people helps relieve symptoms, improve quality of life, support parents and siblings through their bereavement and care for children until the end.”
