Leicester Tigers take on Wasps in the Gallagher Premiership on Saturday, February (3.00pm) and there will be plenty of activities for fans as part of our annual Uniformed Services Day match.

Each season, the club recognises the work of the uniformed services across the region offering former and current members a discounted match ticket offer. Please email [email protected] or call 0116 217 1216 to get yours and find out more.

Alongside a day of rugby, supporters will also be able to get involved with activities and entertainments on the plaza outside the Holland & Barrett Stand from 12.30pm before kick-off.

The plaza will be a hub of activity welcoming stalls with representatives from a number of uniformed services organisations.

The Leicester Police will be bringing along a marked police car alongside its cyber-crime and crime prevention teams.

Members of the Royal Marines will be showcasing a mobile recruitment vehicle while the RAF Reserves and Royal Anglian Regiment will also be in attendance with activities for supporters.

Supporters will also be able to take a look inside a CVR (T) Scorpion tank as well as take part in first aid demonstrations thanks to the Treble 2 Medical Squadron

A marching band will provide the backdrop with a variety of music on the plaza whilst Tigers charity partner Leicestershire & Rutland Blood Bikes will celebrate their official charity matchday, with two of their motorbikes on show.

The match will also formally mark its commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant with members of the Tigers board and employees who have served in the military joining representatives from the armed forces on the pitch.

The Covenant includes a commitment to supporting army personnel, reservists, veterans and military families alongside career opportunities, employee support and charity funding.

If you are a current or former member of the uniformed services and would like to take advantage of our special discount ticket rate, please email [email protected] or call 0116 217 1216 and find out more.
