Gallagher is pleased to announce their inaugural charity cycling challenge, The Road to Twickenham.

Taking place over eight days, June 11-18, a core group of ex-professional rugby players will cycle the Gallagher Premiership Rugby trophy over 750 miles from Newcastle Falcons down to Twickenham Stadium in time for the Gallagher Premiership Rugby Final.

At the Final, the group will cycle the trophy into the stadium ready for the champions to take home that day.

This group will be raising money for rugby charity Wooden Spoon and all fundraising on matchday will contribute to the cause supported by a text-to-donate campaign in the stadium and other efforts on the concourse and hospitality areas.

Core riders include Nathan Hines, Jack Clifford, Lee Mears, Ollie Philips, Al Hargreaves, Tom May, Charlie Sharples, Jonny Arr and Tom Stephenson, with more names to be revealed nearer the time.

The core riders will stop at each Premiership Rugby club to meet a group of day riders, who will join them on the next leg of their journey.

At the end of each day ride, there will be refreshments and a Q&A from the core riders.

Transport to the start and from the finish of each leg of the ride will be provided.

Day riders will be raising money for the Premiership Rugby club foundations via Wooden Spoon.

League title sponsors Gallagher are offering two spaces on each leg of our cycle, providing a great opportunity to spend the day cycling with legends of the game.
