London Welsh have announced the signing of wing Will Hurrell from Leicester Tigers.
A Tigers Academy graduate after playing his early rugby at Melton Mowbray RFC, the 21-year-old has previously played in the Championship during loan spells at Coventry and Doncaster, as well as making five senior appearances for Tigers.

“Leicester Tigers has set me up really well for my rugby career,” said Hurrell. “The training is really tough, you have to be 100 per cent all the time, and I think that’s going to stand me in good stead coming to a Championship club.
“I’m looking forward to being full-time at London Welsh and seeing how their training differs and what new challenges it will pose me.”
Hurrell could face former Tigers colleagues Joe Duffey and Joe Cobden in the Championship next season after the confirmation of their moves to Nottingham.
