Clare, 19, joined players at Leicester Forest RFC on Sunday as part of the Aviva Premiership Rugby Schools Programme.
The young players took part in a range of activities designed to broaden both interest and participation in the game.
Academy hooker Clare joined in with some of the games and passed on advice during a question and answer session and also posed for photographs.
The event was the culmination of the Aviva Premiership Rugby Schools Programme, which Tigers have been running in schools around Leicester Forest RFC. The programme aims to help create a legacy by encouraging the young players who have been taking part in the programme to continue playing rugby.
Launched in October, the Aviva Premiership Rugby Schools Programme represents a £2 million investment by Aviva into the grass roots level of the game. Resources will go towards supporting more than 15,000 man hours of coaching and reaching more than 36,000 pupils aged nine to 11 from 600 primary schools in England over each of the next four seasons.
This season, Tigers coaches have been working with schools around Melton, Leicester Forest and Lutterworth and are currently at schools around Market Harborough and Oakham. The programme includes a six-week introduction to rugby and Tigers also work with teachers to continue with tag once the club’s coaches have moved on.
