The highlights of Leicester Tigers' historic match with the Barbarians have already been watched more than 100,000 times.
The fixture at Welford Road on Tuesday evening, which was part of the Baa Baas 125th anniversary celebrations, was not broadcast on television but was captured by the club’s coaching staff for internal analysis purposes.
The Tigers media team have put together a four-minute package on the club’s YouTube channel, which was watched more than 100,000 times in the first 24 hours after its upload.
The highlights include the four Leicester tries and the pick of the visitors’ nine scores. They also include some classic Barbarians moments, including Francis Saili’s comical conversion, a couple of unorthodox lineouts and a bewitching tap penalty routine, plus a try and conversion for Sharks back-rower Jacques Botes on his final outing.
