Ahead of The Slater Cup fixture on Sunday, former Leicester Tigers players are taking on a team of former Gloucester players in a 12-hour fitness challenge to raise money for Ed Slater.

Slater represented both clubs before being diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease (MND) in June last year and, since, a series of fundraising efforts have taken place to help support 4Ed - a campaign set up to support Ed and his family, while raising awareness of MND.

The challenge, consisting of 12 hours of cycling and rowing, will start at 12.30am before The Slater Cup fixture kick's off at 1.00pm.

The Tigers team will be captained Dean Richards and Gloucester's side will be skippered by Mike Tindall.

Gates open at 11.00am, and for a minimum £10 donation, you can have the opportunity to race the former professionals in the fan zone and get your name on the leaderboard.
