Discover what it's like to walk around the famous Leicester Tigers dressing room in this weekend's Leicester Hospitals Charity Kidney Care Appeal charity walk around Welford Road.
On Sunday, June 3, you can help raise money as well as experience a behind the scenes tour of the stadium as volunteers walk a one mile route.
The walk will start around midday offering visitors special access to different areas of the ground, including the changing rooms.
There will be stalls, live music and children’s entertainment alongside refreshments. There will also be a grand raffle draw with a first prize of a VIP hospitality package for a Tiger’s match next season.
The walk is wheelchair friendly and a shorter walk is also available for participants so be sure to bring along family and friends for an afternoon of fun.
The Leicester Hospitals Charity Kidney Care Appeal is one of Leicester Tigers official charities for the 2017/18 season.
Ahead of the event, Graham Warwick, Consultant Nephrologist at Leicester Hospitals, said: “We’re really grateful to Leicester Tigers who over the last nine months have helped us raise vital funds for Kidney Care treatment through events and bucket collections on matchdays.
“The club has kindly allowed us to use their facilities for our walk offering a unique behind-the-scenes experience for all involved. We hope people can join us, get some exercise and help raise funds for our local Kidney Care Appeal.”
The event is free to enter but pre-registration is preferred. Please note that unfortunately dogs are not allowed on the site.
