Loughborough University hosts the Premiership ‘A’ League fixture between Leicester Tigers and Northampton Wanderers on Monday evening (December 18).
The game has been moved to help protect the Welford Road pitch during the mid-winter period as it is already scheduled to host first-team games on successive weekends with the European Champions Cup match against Munster on Sunday and an Aviva Premiership game against Saracens on Christmas Eve followed by the league fixture against London Irish on January 6.
Kick-off at Loughborough is at 7.30pm and admission is free to all supporters.
Loughborough University is on Epinal Way, Loughborough, LE11 3TT. Enter the university campus via the East Park Entrance off Epinal Way and staff will direct you to available car-parking. The rugby pitch is on the left-hand side when you pass the security barrier.
There is no covered seating so supporters are advised to dress appropriately and bring umbrellas if required. Refreshments will be available from the Athletes Lounge overlooking the pitch.
Northampton currently top the Northern Conference with wins in each of their opening six fixtures, while Tigers are in third place, level on points with second-placed Newcastle Falcons, after collecting three wins in their four games so far.
Tigers would like to thank Loughborough University for arranging the use of their facilities at such short notice and look forward to welcoming as many supporters as possible for this local derby fixture.
