Leicester Tigers and Newcastle Falcons are set to lock horns twice within the space of little more than 24 hours.

The teams meet in Round 3 of the Aviva Premiership season at Newcastle’s Kingston Park on Sunday before the Falcons head to Welford Road for a Premiership ‘A’ League fixture on Monday evening (7pm).

The ‘A’ League season opened with a 33-20 victory for the Tigers Development XV away to Wasps this week with tries from Tom Brady and Jack Roberts plus a penalty try from a close-range scrum. The line-up included international props Michele Rizzo and Logovi’i Mulipola on their return from injury.

The Falcons kicked off their campaign in the ‘A’ League with a bonus-point win over Northampton.

Entry to Welford Road on Monday is free to Tigers season ticket holders and members on presentation of your season ticket or membership card.

Season ticket holders and members will also receive four free tickets via email to print off for family and friends to use.

Tickets for all other supporters are £5 adults, £1 for juniors at the ticket office on the way to the game.

Premiership ‘A’ League fixtures provide an opportunity for first-team squad players to gain valuable gametime, especially in their return from injury, as well as a chance for development squad players to play in senior company and a target for academy players as they come through the age-groups.

All supporters will be accommodated on the terrace and seating in the South Stand.
