Leicester Tigers' Under-18s resume their National Academy League programme with a home game against Yorkshire Carnegie on Saturday.Tigers have recorded three wins from four games in the league programme so far ahead of Saturday’s fixture at Oval Park. Kick-off is at noon and supporters are welcome.
After opening the season with a 17-15 win over Gloucester, Tigers won 8-0 away to Worcester but then lost at Northampton in the run-up to Christmas before bouncing back with a 20-14 victory over Sale Sharks at Welford Road earlier this month.
The Tigers Academy have confirmed international fixtures against Wales Under-18s at Rugby School on Sunday, February 22 and England Clubs & Schools Under-18s at Welford Road on Sunday, March 15.
Academy assistant manager Tosh Askew said: “We always look to put together a challenging fixture list and playing against representative sides is a good test for everyone.
“We have established good links with many of the representative sides and these fixtures are valuable to us in terms of assessing player development.”
