Come and see behind the scenes of the new-look Welford Road as Leicester Tigers throw open the doors for an Access All Areas Open Day on Sunday, September 13.

Gain exclusive access to the new Caterpillar Stand and all areas of the stadium, including the changing rooms, while hearing from players and coaching staff via question-and-answer sessions.

The doors open at 10am, with the first hour restricted to season ticket holders who will have an opportunity to familiarise themselves with the new access control system and Caterpillar Stand season ticket holders can check their seats. Staff will be available to help with enquiries.

Enjoy an exclusive Q&A session in the Caterpillar Stand for season ticket holders only before the admission of the general public at 11am.

There will feature a demonstration of the new corporate facilities, including the exclusive 1880 Club, and attractions throughout the ground as well as food and refreshments. The ticket office and Club Shop will be open and Tigers players will be appearing during the course of the day.

Tigers managing director David Clayton said: “Last year’s Tigers Open Day was a great success with around 10,000 supporters coming into Welford Road. Now, with the first phase of stadium redevelopment due for completion for our first home game of the season on September 19, we have an opportunity to welcome supporters old and new, and let them share in a great day as well as familiarising themselves with the new facilities.

“We hope our Access All Areas day this year proves just as popular and we look forward to welcoming season ticket holders, members, regular supporters and those who have not visited the stadium before.

“We have an opportunity now to welcome many more supporters who may have been unable to obtain tickets in the past and the Open Day provides an opportunity for them to check out the redevelopment, have a good look around behind the scenes and meet some of their favourite players.”
