The Leicester Tigers Open Day promises to be even bigger and better this year as supporters are given Access All Areas at Welford Road on Sunday, September 13.

With the first home game of the season just six days later, the Open Day provides a fantastic opportunity to gain access to the new Caterpillar Stand and all areas of the stadium, including the changing rooms, while also meeting the players and coaching staff.

Season ticket holders can gain exclusive access from 10am and familiarise themselves with the new access control system and enjoy the opening Q&A session in the Caterpillar Stand before the admission of the general public at 11am.

Caterpillar Stand season ticket holders can check the location of their seats and speak to ticket office staff, or if you have not bought a season ticket yet, why not come down and select your seat?

The day will also feature a demonstration of the new corporate facilities, including the exclusive 1880 Club, and there will be attractions throughout the ground, including food and refreshments. The ticket office and Club Shop will be open and Tigers players will be appearing during the course of the day.

Tigers managing director David Clayton said: “Last year’s Tigers Open Day was a great success with around 10,000 supporters coming into Welford Road. Now, with the first phase of stadium redevelopment due for completion for our first home game of the season on September 19, we have an opportunity to welcome supporters old and new, and let them share in a great day as well as familiarising themselves with the new facilities.

“We hope our Access All Areas day this year proves just as popular and we look forward to welcoming season ticket holders, members, regular supporters and those who have not visited the stadium before.

“We have an opportunity now to welcome many more supporters who may have been unable to obtain tickets in the past and the Open Day provides an opportunity for them to check out the redevelopment, have a good look around behind the scenes and meet some of their favourite players.”
