Access All Areas this Sunday at the Tigers Open Day

Figure image
Come down to Welford Road this Sunday when Tigers throw open the doors to their home ground for an Access All Areas Open Day - and it is all for free.

There will be chances throughout the day to meet the first-team squad and collect autographs, to join the players for question-and-answer sessions and to even watch them in fashion shows.

Discover how the Guinness Premiership champions prepare for a big game with a tour of the dressing rooms and check out the fantastic new facilities in the 10,000-seat Caterpillar Stand.

It really is a day for the whole family with a host of activities around the ground including model car racing and an F1 simulator, while Harry Ellis will open the new Junior Tigers Club room.

The atmosphere will be electric with live music and entertainers, coaching demonstrations, and children’s activities including face-painting, bouncy castle, balloon modellers and Tigers treasure hunt.

Other attractions will include an Army climbing wall, Lumbers boat challenge and thermal imagery from the Mark Group as well as David Lloyd fitness equipment and birds of prey.

Supporters can check out the location of their new seats in the Caterpillar Stand or, if you want to guarantee your seats for the biggest games, come down and talk about season tickets and try out the best available places.

There will also be the chance to experience the new corporate facilities, including the exclusive 1880 Club, and find out about Welford Road facilities on non-matchdays, including Christmas parties, weddings and family celebrations.

The ticket office will be open all day so you can reserve your place for games throughout the season. Sunday presents a last chance to take advantage of the Try Before You Buy option for the opening game of the season against Newcastle Falcons when you can redeem the value of your ticket against another game at Welford Road before Christmas. Ticket office staff will be on hand throughout the stadium to answer your queries.

Fans who have ordered replica bricks for the Walk of Legends can take them home with them from the Open Day. The replica bricks will be available from the control box on the corner of the Crumbie and Clubhouse stands.

The day begins with exclusive access for season ticket holders and their friends and families from 10am at an opening question-and-answer session with a Tigers star in the Caterpillar Stand. Gates open for the general public from 11am.
