London Irish scrum-half Darren Allinson has been suspended for two weeks for kicking an opponent - Leicester Tigers full-back Geordan Murphy - in the Aviva Premiership match at Welford Road last Saturday.

Allinson had been charged with the offence contrary to law 10.4(c) following a report from the RFU citing officer Peter Larter.

The suspension runs from August 2 to August 18.

The case was heard by His Honour Judge Jeff Blackett sitting as a sole judicial officer at Twickenham.
